Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

Johnstown Symphony Orchestra is able to accept contributions though Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program – an incentive program that can multiply the impact of your gift. EITC approved businesses like yours receive tax credits equal to 75% of your contribution to the JSO, up to $750,000. For a business committing to a two-year contribution, that amount can be increased to 90 percent of the contribution.

The nationally-acclaimed Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, led by Grammy-winning Music Director James Blachly, is now in it's 94th year. The JSO has distinguished itself with bold musical experiences and community-focused events. Our mission is to use music as an instrument to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together and highlight the good in our community.

Individuals, non-profit organizations, corporations, and foundations choose to sponsor our work because they see the impact the JSO is having on our region.
